We had a lovely evening meal which was great value for money, and the drinks selection was impressive! The garden area was a perfect spot to unwind. There was live music that made our stay even better. Only downside was a bit of noise from the pub below, but it didn't ruin our experience. 😊

The building has a certain charm, blending contemporary touches with a classic facade. Its location offers easy access to nearby attractions, allowing for a pleasant exploration of the area.
The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, with reports of unwashed linens and surfaces not getting the attention they need. Some guests encountered black mould around the baths in certain rooms, and a lack of breakfast service necessitated seeking options elsewhere. Road noise might disturb light sleepers as it seems to seep into all rooms, which could make for a restless night. the pub beneath the establishment can be quite lively, leading to noise that might not suit everyone’s taste.

Had a great time with friends! We explored the historical courts in England, then enjoyed tasty food back at our cozy room. The pricing was spot on, and the old pub vibe made it unique. Just be prepared for some stairs during your stay.
A bit loud outside our window at night, especially with people chatting in the hallway late.

Comfortable Stay Despite Minor Noises
We spent a restful night in the family room, though the bed springs squeaked a bit. Luckily, the dog barking was only during the day. Try the nearby café for a delightful breakfast, it’s an excellent start! a cozy place for couples.
